Cision Communication Cloud allows us to identify journalists and producers by region, subject matter, etc. Its analytical tools are great for analyzing success and nipping outreach strategy. We previously relied on a public relations firm, but it had minimal direct oversight over pitching activity and success metrics.

Cision provides a user-friendly platform that visualizes digestible data, offering analyses that set the platform apart from essential media monitoring providers. Cision’s media monitoring is a bit limited. I use it in combination with other sources. Also, their media reports include our own social media posts. I set up tracking to hear about others’ posts about our company and clients, but instead, I receive emails sending my posts to my inbox. Overall, tracking and social listening could be improved, but reports on our press releases are fantastic.
