Before investing in Mavenlink, make sure you try and use the free basic version of the software. The software is not very efficient in tracking time, calculating billable and non-billable hours. Otherwise, it is a pretty cool software for your business.

Mavenlink platform would have been a lot nicer if there was a way to identify milestones and tasks that warrant status change notifications. But otherwise, Mavenlink’s Timesheets are a breeze. Even if you hate doing timesheets, this platform makes it easy. The online knowledge base and forums are beneficial as well.

The potential for Mavenlink to hold so many things on a centralized platform that impacts the entire organization is pretty impressive. You have Project Managers doing their work, resource management handling theirs, budget groups getting what they need. Mavenlink is effective in handling almost everything. Overall, it’s pretty cool.

Mavenlink makes it easier to track time. We can log tasks to a project and a specific task. Time can be input in .25 hour increments and tracked as billable or non-billable work. I like to prefill project and task Names from the previous week for timesheets.

I find it really difficult to use as it can’t export a Gantt chart to PDF or any other format.
